Andrew Drury is a writer, journalist and adventure tourist. He has been featured on many international news shows, including Sky News, Piers Morgan Uncensored and Good Morning Britain. Through Andrew’s meetings with Shamima Begum, who has been denied British Citizenship, he has been interviewed across multiple news channels. Andy’s other adventures have seen him travel to Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Kosovo, Chechnya, Syria and Pakistan.

Andrew – Shamima was famously seen on front of the newspapers with two of her mates. They left the UK to join ISIS and ended up in Raqqa and became married. All three of them were married but two of them are now dead. Her friends were blown up in Baga. Shamima got picked up as she was trying to escape.
