Our Battle In The Desert, features Brian Wood MC. Brian was awarded the Military Cross for gallantry in combat, for courageous leadership in Iraq. He was later summoned for unfound war crimes, which eventually led to full vindication. His story is now the subject of a BBC2 film, Danny Boy and he has been open about his struggles with PTSD. He also supports Walking With The Wounded’s mental health programme.

Brian – I think we’ve raised about half a million. I was running for the fallen, who paid the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Falklands as well. It just got so much momentum and I had my target of twenty thousand pounds. I thought that was really ambitious and I probably wouldn’t get there, but it’s a good target to have. Then it just went to the moon and everyone just seemed to get behind me. I went for 35 days, 35 marathons and then halfway through, I flew to the Falklands and ran four marathons there.

Gerald – The American dream has gone. Look at the country, what it looks like with the people. I mean, wouldn’t it be beautiful if they ripped down all of Rome, Paris or all of Prague? They put up ugly skyscrapers made of steel and glass. I mean, why don’t you just knock down all the old beauty and put up some ugly crap? That’s what America’s become, ugly and crap. We have the highes obesity rate and people dress like slobs. There’s no style and it’s all gone. The American dream is dead and it’s very sad. I watch it in front of me and again I’m a lucky guy. I grew up in 1946 in the Bronx and that was the height of America. The war ended in in forty-five and and so the energy was just so spectacular.

Johnny – If the American Media ever picks my story up, I just get a load of feedback like, rich white guy with his dad’s credit card. My upbringing is very different to that. I come from a single parent family, as my father was in prison. We were in a woman’s home and we ended up having to flee the south of Ireland, change our names and move to the north. It was a very turbulent childhood and then we were on the on welfare for 10 years, living off forty-five pounds per week. I was always poor, as poor as you can be in Ireland and I just remember feeling very restricted. We never had a holiday or any of that sort of stuff until I was fourteen or fifteen. I’d never been on an airplane and we didn’t have a car.

Hans – The kingdom of God and these destructive forces are still among us today. They are interested in destroying everything, because out of the destruction they then want to rebuild their new kind of own kingdom. So this energy of destructions are everywhere and they are not necessarily also with all the people, over the military or in government. These are also negative astral beings who are actually possessing some of these leaders and influential people. Their very negative decisions lead to destruction, suffering and pain. Suffering and pain are emotional energies on which these astral beings feed.
We call them loose energy, so whenever we look at the theatre of war, we see destruction and we are seeing enormous amounts of fear, pain and suffering.

Mario – First of all we need to understand central banks. They’re only there because the the government gives them the monopoly. In the case of the bank of England, it was the Royal Charter in 1694. What we had here, was a marriage between these money lenders that you talk about and the government. Why do they do that, well because the money lenders benefit from the fact that they’re lending to a nation. When you lend to nations, you make a lot more profit. The monarch or the president or whatever the government has the power of taxation. So it’s almost like the bankers will never lose out because the head of state can always tax and they can always find crisis.
