Clive’s health journey began aged 32, when he could hardly walk or hold a cup. He eventually managed to cure himself and he now passes on all he learnt during those stressful times.

Clive – If you just picked the orange off the tree, it’s one hundred percent vitamin C. By the time it’s been sitting in the warehouse or shop, how much Vitamin C is left? Well possibly not very much. The minerals will still be there, but the vitamin level will have dropped below. So all of us are low on vitamin C which means that many of us have actually got mild scurvy. Somebody’s got skin issues, maybe their gums are bleeding or they’re bruising very easily. They keep getting infections and that sort of thing. It’s very likely that it’s low vitamin C and it’s one of the greatest remedies in existence.

Alex – There are many reasons that Russia is invested and interested and sees Ukraine as critical. But for the West, it’s about trying to find a way to weaken Russia, to Balkanize Russia, so NATO may have been an option. For at least Ukraine may have thought that this was their ticket into NATO by fighting the Russians. But you see the NATO powers never saw it like that. They’re not looking for Ukraine to enter NATO, they’re not looking for Ukraine to enter the European Union. For them, Ukraine is just useful at this moment. Because if you look at Bakhmut, it’s absolutely flattened and it looks a bit like Hiroshima after the bomb went off.

Nick – He goes, Nick you almost died so how come you’re not freaking out? I said Jason, when you’ve almost died the first time you’ll always remember that. When you’ve nearly died a second or third time it’ll scare you. When this has happened to you about a dozen times, you don’t go at it with fear. You step back and you observe it. It’s a strange thing that you were describing and you take a moment from that fear. Then you go back and then you’re like almost laughing about how you scared yourself. You know you’re dying anyway somewhere in your psyche. It’s like you become the observer in the situation, rather than the kind of victim.

Keith – Of course we all have our things that inform us as adults. I can’t then claim that as trauma for me. Certainly not big T trauma if we’re using that terminology. But relationships caused me issues. My earliest one, she was the mother of my eldest son. That relationship broke down and that was a catalyst for me joining the parachute regiment. It was a perfect storm of events because that relationship broke down, then 9/11 happened. I always wanted to join the military anyway, but I felt while I was certainly traumatised by that relationship, there was a freedom from it as well.

Mathew – We were filming sort of mid to late nineties because Dayton, Danny and a few others we’re always filming skateboarding and us messing about. It wasn’t until we made the video versus Dean that launched and MTV saw that. That’s how it all happened really.
Chris – It’s a hell of a series and I know you hooked up with the marines a few times during the course of that and you went to Lympstone and did all the commando stuff. You did it really well and I was really proud of you guys you know, because it’s a big shocker for anyone rocking up at Lympstone.
Mathew – I used to be fit, I mean I was a skateboarder and then you know Sanchez hit and then my fitness went out the window. Everything was all about partying.
