John McAfee created the McAfee anti-virus software, used throughout the world, including by intelligence companies such as the CIA. He twice ran for US presidential election and was a multi-millionaire living an extraodinary life. His wife Janice wants the truth regarding John’s demise. With some inacurracies, Netflix made a documentary about John’s life, entitled, ‘Running With The Devil’.

Janice – He got into a battle with the Belizean government, so I will just quickly go through that because I think it’s important to his story. A lot of his issues with the Malaysian government started well before his neighbour was murdered. I believe it was about April of 2012 when he said he was visited by some representatives of the Belizean government. They asked him if he was willing to donate two million dollars to a campaign or just to these officials and said they would bill it out to whomever.

They said they would give them perks around the island, such as land or women. John declined this offer and he said about a week later, his property was raided by the GSU. They are a gang suppression unit and they destroyed his laboratory. He was actually working on a tropical antivirus, which is pretty cool in keeping with the antivirus that he created for computers.
