Sohom – A lot of them have drug and alcohol issues and they also have mental illnesses. A very high proportion, the vast majority, have experienced some trauma earlier on in their life. Whether it’s neglectful parenting, physical, sexual or emotional abuse. I spent five and a half years in university including my access course. I’ve seen police officers come into an establishment and do a lecture. Their image of of humans can be so off the mark.
