Billy Watson is a Scottish comedian. He has stood up over the last few years, to highlight the madness of our government’s actions. He is also keen to shine a light on the cancel culture, wokeness and the death of comedy in this modern-day puritan age. What would Bill Hicks have made of it all?

Billy – I was trying to get a rock band going. We had a big fallout so then I tried to get other people drafted in. One of those people was this girl who was quite a good songwriter and she handed me a video of David Icke. Turning off the tide, is about an hour and a half long. I can remember taking it out the video player after watching it and putting the news on. I realized how much the news were lying to us because we never heard of things like the Builderberg Group or the Council of Foreign Relations. Obviously real things that I gathered from watching the video and never heard them in the news. It’s like somebody’s not telling the full story here.

David Icke came to Edinburgh a couple of weeks later, so I went with this girl to watch him. There were only around five or six people in the audience. Instead of going down the rabbit hole, it should be go up rabbit holes. It’s increasing your knowledge and consciousness.
