C – I’m learning a lot about trauma as the podcast goes on. I deal with a lot of military types is that a lot of us servicemen and women join up with childhood trauma. Unresolved childhood trauma which when you compound it with some possibly unpleasant experiences in military can then manifest as problem behaviour later in life for veterans who end up needing support. So Anoushka, what is rapid transformational therapy?

C – How are you?

M – Good my brother. I’ve just been out on the hills and I’ve spent my whole day up there, so it was a great. The weather started out as such a beautiful day here in southern Ireland and then the hail came down. So we had a hail storm. We had everything today. The weather was wonderful and great anyway.

C – It is so important to get out mate isn’t it and to make that connection with nature so we don’t get too freaking tunnel-visioned by all this technological, urban, ugliness.

M -You’ve got to be out rain or shine, every single day and yes it’s beautiful. I think it was Kurt Vonnegut whom said, ‘We’re here to have a good time and don’t let anyone tell you different’. Whatever we’re going through, this is the day we’ve been given and we should make it a good one. I try and do that everyday.
