Brendon – They are not going to win this battle and I urge people to please get offline and use the internet like a telephone. You don’t live your life on the telephone, if you remember that far back you. Get out and meet with people and organize with people. Right now we have people sitting in the barracks and they’re training and they’re doing more training and they’re comparing tattoos. They’re down the barracks in the wet-mess and none of them will actually leave the barracks and engage in warfare.

They think they’re going to sit there and have a successful YouTube channel. Social networking face to face is the key and I urge people. Conserve energy by all means, but tell grandma, tell Betty the housewife and tell your local mechanic information. Infect one military person serving or retired and that information will flood through the system so fast.

After attempting to join the army, Lennox’s life spiralled out of control, between gang life and prison. He served approximately 15 years behind bars. Eager to turn his life around, Lennox became co-founder and CEO of the charity, Refocus Project. Their aim is crime prevention and intervention. His book, ‘Breaking Better’, is available now.

Lennox – People used to talk about the Dartmoor stare. There was so much knife crime and people made sure their backs were to the wall. People were scared to expose their back because someone would come up to them and stab them. People sometimes had magazines around their waist and you know they took precautions. It was a horrible experience to to be in Dartmoor. It was cold and you didn’t have a lot. They weren’t the facilities there that you would see at some other prisons.

Royal Marines Commando Recruit Troop Boss And Kat!

Jock Hutchison is president and co-founder of Horseback UK. He was a commissioned officer in the Royal Marines and saw service all over the world. Jock was selected to be a helicopter pilot and served across all branches of the British Armed Forces. Horseback UK was set up to help veterans with life-changing injuries, although that demographic has changed to include civilians.
Kat Henderson worked as a nurse in Australia, before joining the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. After being an outdoors adventurer, she had a life changing moment from a biking accident in France, which saw her paralysed from the waist down. She is now on the team with Horseback UK.

Jock – We help people from the military community and others and our job is to help people that have really hit rock bottom, to reconnect to their former self and re-establish themselves in the world. I’ll talk about that as we go on but that’s our mission.

Jock – Yes I’ll introduce Kat. You know I was a member of our team, the Royal Marines which encouraged values that have never left me. Speaking to Chris, it’s great to hear that you know whatever happens in life, I don’t think that kind of experience ever leaves you. We needed to put a team together to help the work that we do and at the heart of that idea is the idea of empowering people from within the community.

Richard – I think one of the big problems is that this is an attack that you can’t really see. It’s in the air, it’s a kind of feeling and to get people to understand that it’s just as real as bullets flying through the air, it’s very difficult. People who don’t understand the demo thing thought that it was about changing official policy. It was never really about that for me, it was showing solidarity with people who felt the same. I remember talking to one elderly lady who was from Southampton and she found going to the demos incredibly invigorating. She suddenly realized that she wasn’t the only one who thought like she thought.

Nick Duckworth is a veteran Royal Tank Regiment Commander and he was part of the NATO defence during the cold-war. After leaving the military, Nick found work in Iraq as a private contractor. His team went through quite a few close calls, whilst working there. After Nick was recommended, he was put forward to become Aston Martin’s Senior Production Specialist. He introduced clients to the brand, the cars and the Aston Martin family. Nick tells us how the Aston Martin DB5 was introduced to the James Bond films. In November 2021, Nick moved to Group Lotus.

Nick – There’s no such thing as a free lunch Chris. If you’re out there earning that sort of money, someone pays somewhere. One incident we were involved in, was the BIAP road. That stood for Baghdad International Airport road and it was about 10ks of dual carriageway. The bike road connected the international zone where the Americans, the Brits and everyone else lived.

When you left the green zone, that bit of dual carriageway just became a free-for-all. The insurgents made it known that they were going to turn that place into the most dangerous bit of road in the world. All the people that live in those areas, they’re all driving down the dualcarriageway, just like you’d expect anywhere else in the world. We were in the middle of it and on one occasion we came out of the international airport and we were getting close to the international zone. We were in four by fours at that time which fortunately were armored.
